The duplex house design serves as an independent house with a large common living space that evokes interaction within the family members and provides an independent private space to every member for the much desired solitude in the evolving contemporary needs.
The simple yet complex design has common areas like living, dining, kitchen and guest bedroom on the lower floor whereas the private family bedrooms are on the upper levels.
The design plays with the levels to create large interlinked family spaces but functionally segregated. This identity of spaces has been further enhanced by the variation in heights and volumes of spaces.
